There are acutally electric superchagers that work for small 4cyl cars, you can order one for my buddies escourt that will add like 40 WHP.. but you have to add a few batterys and it takes like 5+ minutes of crusing speed between runs to recharge the batterys lol.
Never gonna work on a V8 or anything with over 2 liters of displacement though.
