I just took my heads off of my car to get ported and reconditioned. I am either getting VT Stage 1 or 2s. I have the stock PI cams and they look great. I was wondering what I can get for them?

Also not to sure what I should replace them with? I am getting gears, JLT cai, u/d pulleys, a retune, and long tubes soon to go with the cam.

you could probably get about $30-$40 for the cams.

umm you can get a little more for them than that. Iv seen them on ebay for as much as 250....but 150 id say

Find a local mustang club and talk to some nonPI guys see what you can get for them. I do that with crap I no longer want and I usually get rid of it for a good price.

would it be worth it for me to buy a set of used stock cams for a pi swap, or just p&p the pi heads and go with stage 1's, even if it takes a little longer to save??

It's a 2000 and the sprokets are on them. It has 101,435 miles on it (mostly all highway from Georgia to Louisiana, Texas, and back to Delaware). I bought it a year ago with 86,--- on it and I have taken very good care of the car so I wouldn't sell anything that is bad. I am going to try some local clubs maybe PhillyStangs and see what I can get for them.
