Yeah I test drove the Parnelli Jones Mustang...whew...that thing was quick as hell. Though I didn't punch it, because it was Steve Saleens own car! [

Yeah, out of all the cars they had, they gave me #1 of like 300 sumthin PJ's they have made. It was very happy to merge onto the 405 though lol.
I don't know about the 05+ GT's, but the PJ was a totally new way of driving. The clutch was SOOO much softer than mine. I could barely rest my size 13 feet on it without depressing it too much. The short shifter was amazingly short, considering I have an MGW, but it's just the gearbox. Are the GT's clutch that soft? I got back in my 99 and I couldn't believe how hard my clutch was. It felt like grinding a metal bar to a rock.

S197s trap in the 103 range, where as a New Edge only goes about 99-100.. that's a pretty good difference...
not to mention the nearly full half second they pick up in the quarter mile from us.
