Yeah, slightly larger tank and running it like you said I guess I could see how you got that good of mileage.
Just don't expect to see that once you start having some fun with it
Oh yeah, I think I forgot to say congratulations earlier. Have fun with it

wow!!! I get a lil more than that on a Full Tank. If ur tank is about 14 Gallons. Half is 7. 250/7=35.7mpg Are u sure????

I think that the speedometer has to be a little off. My GT goes right below half a tank at 190 miles and I usually get about 320 to a tank driving like an old woman. It obviously isn't truly half empty.

Gents, you are all mustang owners. Come on, you know that the first half of the tank goes by slowly, I know mine does. Not 250 for half a tank, but I have reached 220 mi. at around half a tank. And then, the needle is moving down so fast you can almost see it. He probably isn't lying, but he will get around the same mileage we all get with these cars. Here, this is a link that will show you how a gasguage works and explain a little about why they do the whole slow for the first half and fast the second half thing:

This will tell you why the fuel guage does that. Also, by the way, this site is really friggen cool. You can find out all sorts of stuff from here.
