Default rattling clutch

when my car is idleing in neutral i can hear a shaking knock that is really consistent, the only time it goes away is when i sort of take the slack out of the clutch pedal by jst pushing it till it starts to resist. can anyone help me with wut this is. i can tell that my clutch pedal is shaking or vibrating a little bit. thanks

NO NO NO NO. Mine has been doing it forever and it is the TOB RETAINER. There is a small cylinder that slides over the Tranny shaft and the TOB sits on that. Mine is being replaced today with a new TOB. I thought it was a flywheel, then the clutch, then the TOB, then i put in an entire Steeda Clutch Adjustment Kit and that only fixed it when i had it REAL TIGHT. If you remove the clutch shield you will probably see that the clutch fork is vibrating back and forth. Mine is blatantly obvious and drives me nuts!!The TOB isn't sitting properly on the Retainer and that is what is causing at least my issue and it sounds exactly like what you guys are describing.

OMG. mine has been doing that forever and I think you might have answer my question! I was wondering that because its kinda weird that the TOB would be doing that if its not doing anything. As long as the cars in neutral its not spinning I always thought

mine does that as well, it comes and goes, but the thing is I had the king cobra clutch put in like 4 monts ago, and yes I replaced the TOB as well as the pressure plate so I dont know what to think really.

its so embaracing to me. I really want to get to the bottom of this. I have a huge doubt its the TOB because theoretically they are not spinning if its not engaged on the pressure plate so what else can be making that noise

TOB RETAINER. Have it checked. I'm finding out tomorrow if that really solves it. I'll let you know.
