i was thinking cuz of stories i heard what of i were to drill little holes in my GT hoodscoop grill and then from under the hood, of course measuring then cut out a big hole to let air in jus air a thing to cool my upper intake and so my scoop doesnt fly off over 130. whatta you guys think. let me know

water doesn't matter.. look at the 03 corba hood..
every time i wash my car water gets into the engine bay

well the question is; is it a problem to have water go onto a hot engine or something? because my reverse scoops on my car are open and water rolls right into them when washing, but usually if it rains water flows the opposite way so it don't get into my scoop

 

not a good idea like others are saying, your going to get water in there and it will create more drag for a better chance for the scoop to fly off and what if it doesn't look good after you do it JMO Dan-

 

how does shakers and other intakes like that keep the water out then? or just keeping the water from affecting it?
