I was looking at that site also... I dont think its rice. Alot of american automotive owners are afraid of straying away from the normal. If someone does they think its rice because its different. Im not ******* anyone, jut **** I have witnessed from everyone I talk to. The problem with the flame kit that I have heard is that you basicly prevent one of the cylinders from firing which allows that un burned fuel to get spit out the exhaust then ignited. But the problem I have heard is all that fuel is terrible for cats if you have any and not good for your motor from what I hear. I guess the fuel could puddle up on a cylinder and keep leaking past the rings and into your crank case. But there may be other kits that dont use this process.

All a flame kit is (Old School) is a spark plug bung welded into the exhaust tip about 8-12" back, a small nozel with an anti-backflash flange attatched to a small pump and a Jug of gas or whatever you want to use for the fuel of the flame.

This is old school and has been around forever, its not rice because our parents and grandparents started this ****.

I personally wouldnt do it, its not really my taste but I like to see it on other peoples cars.

I just read how the one works that Othic bought and I think that is stupid as hell, thats just asking for all sorts of problems with the engine and cats. Say your racing and you want to be a show off and you hit the switch and all of a sudden you drop a rod because you wanted to shoot nice flame out your V6 SINGLE EXHAUST!!!! lol

Anyways, there is a reason why Old School worked so good and costs less than $30 bux
