Default Mod's question

Well, I am new to the 4.6L engine, like all ofyou once were :P

I am trying to figure out my plans for this 2001 GT and need some pointers.
I am well aware of that supercharging it will give the ultimate results. I know this, but I am well aware of the price also.
what I am really wondering is how much do you really gain fromLong tubes, mid pipe, catback and intake?
I know it wont be a substantialgain, but an aproximation would be nice, so it could help me with how Im going to modify thiscar. (I know that even though I would supercharge it, I still need to upgrade exhaust).
Also, at what point will the car need to be tuned?
My first car I had was avery slow N/T Eclipse. And intake and exhaust modsgave me next to nothing.

Thank you for the help guys!!!

P.S, I did search, so dont hate :P

you don't need a tune for a complete exhaust change although it's always nice to get done($$$$$) Your looking at 20hp with cats and 23 or so with an O/R pipe(no cats) If you just did a camshaft then you would def. need a tune! But for the most part your either tricking or flowing better and a tune won't get much! If you have an auto get an SCT handheld and that should help you out quite a bit with shifting points and maybe 5hp

huh... no more than 10... yeah, see, that sounds like not a really worth while thing for to me :P I meen, More fun to save for a couple of months, supercharge it, then put the exhaust n stuff onto it when you actually can tell a difference??? Or am I waaaaaaay outta line here?
I mean if I would gain maybe 30hp from it all and all, i would probly go with though... It's a thinker :P

I would just do full exhaust, gears, tuner, and then save for blower.

full exhaust including long tubes, will most likely get you 30hp
