well, I guess I will try to go the bolt on way before blowing (:P) It'll give me some excitement instead of waiting for 6 months for a S/C. sounds fun i guess :P

+1 but if you do the gears you're going to need a tune (to adjust for the speedo/odo).

This is what I did w/ my '01 auto:
1) Gears & tuner (tuner will help with shift firmness for auto!!). (Don't mess with the spark & A/F with your tuner until you can get it on the dyno!!)
2) UDP's
3) Intake (CAI, 75mm TB, Upper Intake Plenum) & exhaust (x-pipe w/ cats & cat-back) & dyno to check air/fuel ratio and tune.
With these mods the car sounded MUCH better, was pretty peppy and shifted MUCH better.
4) Was going to S/C but didn't get that far.

All these mods add up!! But they can be done separately over time which saves you from the one-time sticker shock like with the S/C. BUT, if you open a high yieldonline savings account and just make the best effort to contribute to it every time you get paid, then you'll be on your way to the S/C. Plus, you're buying yourself some time to decide which type of S/C you want and to shop around for best prices. To be quite honest with you, if I did a similar car over again, I would wait, save the money and just go straight for the S/C, or:
1) S/C
2) Exhaust & re-check on Dyno
3) Gears and/or short throw shifter (dont forget that you'll need to correct the speedo/odo)
4) Then maybe some suspension
5) Then maybe some (internal) MGW bling
6) Then maybe some (exterior) bling
& on & on & on...[sm=gears.gif]

Anyway, JMO. Take care.

This is EXACTLY what I was originally planning, But after owning the car for 3 weeks, I am already unpatiant, so I started to look into bolt-ons alittle, since it will keep me busy, do it little by little you know.

anyone know a good place for installs and tune here in the L.A area?
