Default 18x10 Rear Questions....

Alright, I know I am gonna get ragged on for this one but...... Do the 18x10 inch wheels fit in the drive through car washes? In PA we have CleanTown USA, and they an amazing job with my car.

Also how much will a 18 x 10 rim + tire slow down my car? Is it noticable?

Also how is the traction?

Also since they're 18 inches will they fill some of the wheel gaps?

you won't notice it slowing you down it will look badass the traction will be pretty decent and yes it will fill the wheel gap if you do a 40 or bigger....not sure about the car washes I took my truck in their once 2001 supercrew 17x8's and some how tore the side wall never again only touchless in aopen bay if anything for the truck stang handwashed lol

Ummm no! I worked at a car wah back in the day and corvette wheels would scrape the rims! They are only 9.5" wide. They were ofcourse late 80's early 90's versions. Well not really back in the day but maybe I worked there6 years ago..lol
Why on earth would you want your car to go through one of those things that scratch the crap outta your car with those brushes that retain dirt, break your antennaand those chemicals that harm your wheels and brushes that scratch your wheels? Trust me stay away from brushes. Go to a brushless. Your car will fit those because they use a sensor and not a guided track as to where the chain breaks and your car is getting washed for an hour...lol

Traction will depend on the tires you get. I have 18x10's and I got some cheap tires to save money, I can't hook at all on a hard launch, and I don't even have the gears in yet.

I guarantee you that you won't see any of those car washes in another 6 or 7 years! They will all be opld and rusty and nobody wants their nice wheels being guided by a metal track! They do have plastic edges on SOME, but they get worn down and unreplaced just like everything

It is a brushless, they use these soft foam things. Doesn't scratch at all. They hand wipe your rims, and they use tire shine.

LOL... Brushless yet they use Foam things!!! Still the same thing. They have something that touches your car! You don't want anything that touches your car and stay away from the hot wax! It strips any kind of Carnuba wax you put on your car and is merely a soap that washes the first rainstorm
