cams..565..valve springs 180..retainers 65 (springs and retainers arnt needed with the stage1s) labor..damn near 2 grand only because i wanted to do the valve springs so the heads have to come off, if you wanna do just cams its only a couple hundred dollars annywho, for the dynotune 400 for the SCT software, 300 for the dyno tune so 700 for that, and for numbers i put down 270 horse and 285 torq

Well, I don't know who your tunner is, he may be good at tunning, but he doesnt know anyhting about exhaust gasses, or he is just saying what he has heard. The Prochamber is actually the best midpipe for scavaging exuahst. It heats up the exhuast gasses more than an X-pipe would, and an X pipe heats the exhuast gas substantially. The hotter the gas, the faster it will flow.

Your tunner was probably commenting on MAC products, which I, and alot of others think, that the quality isnt great (the welds, how its put together, etc). I have had lots of MAC stuff, and the only MAC product I like at all is the underdrive pullies I have for my 89 and the Prochamber. Its been tested by many a mustang magazine, and it comes out on top as the best flowing midpipe.
+1. I have seen many results saying prochamber was the best. Power wise, I would say it goes prochamber > x-pipe > h-pipe.
