Stripped Lug Threads...
ok, so i brought my car to a shop a week ago to get my new tires mounted and balanced, and i didnt notice till today when i went to take my passenger side wheel off that they stripped 3 of the 5 lug threads on the axle. i was pisseddd. i called them up, and b!tched. they fixed it for free, got 5 new lug nuts,and checked all the other threads to make sure they were alright. everything is good now, and i feel better. haha.

1. Make sure they thread the nuts on by hand to get them started.
2. Make sure they have a torque stick on the air ratchet.
Listen to the air ratchet when they are doing another car before your's and if it is crying out in pain
when the nuts bottom they have the torque set way too high.
Assuming you haven't run out of the place by now, as soon as you get home, loosen every nut and re-torque it to specs
using a torque wrench.
Your rotors will thank you by not warping.
Tighter may be better with some things.
