Are they the same? Up until I read this article, I assumed they were. My installer called earlier and said he was out of gears, and for me to order the gears myself. He told me to get Ford Motorsports, at the time I thought they were the same, now I don't know. [&:]

Ford Motorsports is more OEM parts and FRPP is more into racing development. Think of it as Ford and Mercury yes there the same company but there 2 different divisions.

FRPP= Ford Racing Performance Parts. Get those and don't worry.

Whats the difference between these two besides the BIG price difference?

...They both say Ford Racing, only the more expensive says "Ford original." Is that one the Ford Motorsports?

FRPP or Motive gears will be fine. As long as it's made by either of them you'll be fine
