flame flame flame...haha, nah, i dont really know, suprisingly i have never raced/rode in an SRT-4...sounds feasible, i cant imagine those cars being able to launch well
ps. I like goats
oh i like goats too, esp the Ls2's and wouldnt mind owning 1, no one can apparently drive them at the tracksi go to....the guys around here that drive them should be wearing helmets for more reasons than racing
Me either. This is a track vid when I was next to a 05 LS2 goat. I've raced plenty of stock and modded SRT-4's in my termy and i've beating them all. I've driven one that was stock and was not impressed but, I haven't raced any in the new cobra though.

unless im faster than a c5 haha you might want to rethink that statement, cus i had that stage2 by at least 3 cars
What mods do you have? A stock C5 isnt really nothing special, what, mid 12's at best in the 1/4 mile?
Cammed, ram air and Full exhaust............. Pretty stock. The guy I bought it from had it dyno'd at 403hp and 397 Torque. There is NO WAY an SRT-4 is going to walk a Porsche 996........ I did "walk" a 996 on the autobahn at 182 mph

they are very quick - from a dig it you will have a slight advantage but its a drivers race in a 1/4 mile. From a roll you will most likely lose.

All a SRT-4 needs to get in the 12s are a aftermarket WGA, 3" Turbo Back Exhaust, Stage 1 ECU, 19 PSI (Which WGA Covers), Motor Mounts, and Slicks. This should be around 270 WHP with these mods possibly more. Also believe it or not these things put out alot of torque. My SRT-4 was 304 WHP, and 344 WTQ.

All in all thats gonna run around 1200 bucks if that.

I saw a SRT-4 had nothing besides a Mopar CAI ran a 13.6 with DRs.

Also, it is very likely for a Stang to beat a SRT4. I tested my car for boost leaks weekly, some owners don't even know how to do one. Basically your boost gauge will tell you your running 19 PSI when in reality your running 1/2 that if your lucky. I raced a Stang with 4.10s, CAI, and Shorty Headers, Catless Mid Pipe, and Cat-Back. I was bone stock (Mopar BOV lol), and pulled on him rather hard from a 40 Roll considering his mods. From a dig though I couldn't catch him fast enough, and I raced about 3 times from a dig. SRT-4 is a POS from a dig. Like I said before beware though from a 40 roll.

Whoever says they can get a 1.9 60 with street tires on a SRT is full of ****. Like I said I barely got that when I was running slicks.

Also, I am not a SRT-4 lover.

Just have a amount of resoect for how much power you can make, and how cheaply you can do it.

To be honest, I got rid of it for one...... I wanted a bike.....

For two... I always felt like I had something to prove.... I raced every person that revved (Mostly Mustangs to be honest) or even looked at me wrong. I never would race from a dig always a roll, inless I was at the track. I got crushed by a 91 AWD Eclipse, he was making a little over 400 WHP (he claimed). Also to a 03 Yellow Cobra Vert, to be honest though I kept up with his *** more then he would of liked his *** was barely past my front bumper, he rolled down the window said something. I had a Open Down-Pipe so I couldn't understand anything besides the thumbs up I just returned the thumbs up. (By the way if this was you let me know my SRT-4 was Elect Blue)

Like everyone says, not matter if you win or lose you still drive a neon. And that bothered me so here I am with a Daytona 600, and a Mustang GT.
