No all 4.6l blocks are the same basic castings. The only difference between your block and the 04 cobra block is that the cobra has 4 bolt mains and your has 2.

well maybe, but this way i get it all balanced and everything and i dont have to screw with the crank, cuz i intend to do all the work i can myself. How much are Forged rotating assemblies by the way? i always find expensiveones. like 2 grand.

So 2 questions. . .

Can i just swap this for my motor?

Where can i find a good rotating assembly to forge it myself for cheaper than this?

hey sonicblue02 i see you live in N. Ft. Myers. i graduated from there in 05 and live in the cape. i am looking at doing the exact same thing from the exact same place(MMR). MMR also sells forged rotating assemballies. just look through the site. i am gonna get some Patriot Performance Stage II heads with their billet cams (similar to Comp Cams Stage II cams). Alaos if you get a big cam get the notched pistons MMR sells for $250. thats what im doing soon
