Default next step

i just recently got my new GT and it has the hypertec programmer, k&n intake, magnaflow catback, and 3.73 gears. Im sure this is a FAQ but with the set-up i have so far what is your opinion what my next mod should be too add the most hp with my set-up to date. Just starting out with the GT and im just looking for some help from the veterans to get some hp gains.Ive looked a little into x-pipes, injectors, throttle bodies and plenums, im trying to keep decent gas mileage so injectors would be a last resort. gimme some input. Let me know if im heading in the right direction.

No need to upgrade injectors because they dont add hp just support it. Get rid of the hypertech and sell it to some sucker for mod money becaues it is useless. Your next upgrade should be gears, 4.10:1 gears or nothing IMO. upgrade youe exhaust and intake and after that is cams and heads.

I agree....finish the exhaust and then worry about the intake!

Definitely get a new programmer. SCT or the Diablo Sport will both work good. You should also invest in a new mid pipe. The midpipe should be before anything. After this there is a throttle body/plenum and underdrive pullies. Those are all the basic bolt ons (someone chime in if I left anything out).

thanks for the input guys, and yes i have heard the hypertec tuner sucks a**. i was looking at the diablo sport as one of my next options and getting rid of the hypertec. But thanks again for the input it gives me a good place to start. And hey keep em coming if you have another opinion.

in reply to oxfordgt i was looking at gettin 4.10's but they would probably be one of the last things i went for. Just seeing as the 3.73's are already in i think they'll do until i finish everything else.
