I want to mod the hell out of my Bullitt because most of the cars I race over here are not American cars. I race alot of Golf R32's (one wasted my A$$ the other night) BMW M3's which I can get on a launch.... but beyond that....nothing. Porsche Boxsters win some lose some. And a few AMG Benz types. I want to prove that American Muscle aint to be F@cked with. I am thinking seriously about selling the Bullitt and the vette and getting a new 2008 BMW M3..... 400-430 HP AT THE WHEELS. 58k is alot of cash though.
I`m wondering, how is buying a BMW proving that American Muscle ain`t to be F@cked with??[sm=wtf.gif]
Note the title of this thread....... LOSING Battle. It is all good though........Sold the vette

I think it would be alot easier and more fun of a car if you put some money in to the vette. It would probably handle the more hp better.

(never mide you posted as i posted)

You are probably right, but I got turned off at how crazy expensive Vette parts are, especially here in Europe. So I made the decision to sell the Vette. Guy pics her up today. Will I be sad??? YES.... but I am a Ford guy and I get ALOT more attention in the Bullitt anyway. Mustangs are rare in Germany, as far as the Bullitt goes..... I have one of two in country.

I guess the M3's are different over there than they are over here. I wasn't too impressed. Now the M6, Thats a beast!

M3's on launch arn't to impressive..... I mean they will run 13's all day stock. Where the BMW makes in money period is on the track. I drove one at Nurbergring and that **** handles like nobodys business. This new one though 400-430 hp is going to be a force to be reckoned with. Here a few pics of what was revealed at Geneva last week

Looks pretty tough

Thats a nice looking car. I was thinking of the 333bhp inline six that came out in the early 2000's. They do handle well tho!

mod the bullit and have fun w/ it. If I had a 1 of 2 cars in the country, you better believe I would keep it. You will be more of a rarity than in the M3 IMO.
