Hello all, well I am hitting the track this week after about 10 years, last car i raced there was my 1968 Nova, My car is a pretty much stock 1997 Mustang GT, any suggestions or ideas for some good times, oh, it is an automatic!!!!! Thanks, Joe S.

Take the spare tire/jack out...don't go with over 1/4 tank of gas. That **** gets heavy[8D]

Street tires? If so go around the water box and just spin them slightly to clean them off. Water box+ street tires= 1/8th mile burnout...trust me I know

With a stockautomatic non PI car (non performance improved 99-04) I would say mid to high 15's in the 1/4 and high 9's in the 1/8th.

yeah that is what i was curious about, i figure i will give it a first run and then take it again after some mods, i am looking to eventually get it to high 12,s or mid 13,s, if that is possible, in which with the right combo i can get it there!!!!!
