Which H-Pipe do you have?
I think I have the same Magnagflow system, the 15671, NOT the Magnapacks.
Mine doesn't sound anything like yours, but I have the stock H-pipe.
BTW I like the sound of your car better than your friends. It's much smoother sounding.
My car sounds a little like yours but not as loud and not as deep.

If your talking performance wise, ford has actually researched this. they found that either way you go the performance is about the same. but and x pipe is going to give you a more high pitch noise compared to an x pipe which will rumble more. but it also depends on the rest of your set up.

That's so funny. I would get the o/r pipe, but I'm too chicken**** to. I'm afraid I'd get stopped by the cops. Still, sounds really nice. I love the sound of the hpipe and straight thru exhaust. That's gonna be my final way I'm gonna go. The magnapacks are really loud!
