Default Starting Problem!!!!

Ok i just bought my 2003 Mustang GT about two weeks ago, and everything has been going great with it. I mean it drove amazing, looks amazing, and has no problem taking out the ocassional ricer that likes to go heads up at stop lights. But about a week ago i went to start my mustang after just driving it and it was warm. It took about 3 times for it to turn over. It sounded like it wanted to turn over the first two times but didnt. I was concerned but my neighbhor who is the only one i trust to look at both my mustangs said to just keep and eye on it. It didnt do it for a couple of days then just yesterday I was at the car wash and the dam thing woodnt kick over again. When i got it home my neighbhor took a listen and said it wasnt the starter but it was a censor that wasnt functioning properly. The computer was telling the car that either it had to much gas, not enough and wasnt correcting itself until the third try. I mean it always starts but just not the first time. I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone out there. I mean i plan on giving the dealership a piece of my mind later today but would like to have more knowledge of the problem.

Default RE: Starting Problem!!!!

Yep, the same thing happened to me in my 03 gt. One day it took a few turns of the keybefore it turned over. It started fine after that for a few weeks and then did it again. It go worst over time until one day it wouldn't turn over at all and I had to push it off. I didn't know what it could be because it wasn't even clicking when I turned the key over. It was like it didn't have a battery in it at all. Turned out to be the starter. Something to do with the starters on some of the 03 gts, they just flat out work when they want to when the start going out. Change the starter.

I originally thought it might be the starter. I was hoping and praying that it wasn't but maybe i should just have the dealer go through it. I have the 30 day warrantry from them, but you know how dealerscan be with trying to fenagle you with all that bull****. Thanx for getting back to me thou.
