SLPs have the worse tone IMO. I swear one guy around here had one and I thought it was a Harley Davidson goin down the street. If you want strait thrus go Magnapacks!

^^ It is all about preference. Flowmaster sound too hollow to me while LM1's sound like **** to me. LMII's were just what I wanted.

They are stainless anyway. Snow and salt won't matter.

If I were you, I would check out some clips of the powerflows. I think they are chambered also. It would be cheaper and you could go back to the LMI's easily.

They are called flowBASTARDS for a reason. I have Magnaflows now and would look into an SLP system if my car were a 4V. Which it will be as soon as this one goes POP!!!!

if you think lmI's are bad, wait till you drive with a set of dronemasters... i damn near ripped hair out on a 100 mile drive.. I have the lmII's and during cruising speeds you wont hear a thing, while your on the throttle its a beast tho

I have the Org 40's on my stang and don't hear them at all inside, I thought My exhuast sounded like crap cuase I could bearly hear it inside the car. well I let my brother drive it and me stand outside and it's Deep hollow and nice but not so loud alot louder then stock but not loud enough. Sounds great but I just order an O/R H comes in tomorrow To make it louder deeper.

P.S Super 40's I think soud bad but that's just IMO
Once you get the o/r H you will deff notice the difference. Idk bout the 3v though? The 2v is the sexiest sounding car with an o/r H and Flows.

Oh yeah, go with the origional 40's. I can hear mine in the car but its not that bad. You will actually like it.

I have super 40s on my Cobra and I love the tone! I don't hear it that much in the car, but had my wife drive it while I stood outside and it sounded great. I am adding acatless Mac o/r H-Pipe to it to make it louder and deeper. Flows are the way to go! IMO
