Default buying an 01 gt

my friend is trying to buy an 01 gt 5sp it has 50k mi on it and they have the price at 11.5. its a nice car but it looks like it has some hail damage or somthing it has 3 little dents in the top of the driverside1/4 pannel and 2 in the roof they are small but one on the roof has a scratch also so it has potential to rust (although it hasen't yet). what do you guys think he should offer them because when he went in the dealershipwanted 11.8 with tax and title what do you guys think he could get it for? or is it a low price already?

With the dents I would go a lot lower than that. They would probably be lucky to get 10k IMO

I would offer 10k for a 01 with 50k miles on it and several dents.

I got a 99 with 54K Miles GT 5 SPD all option, leather seats, power seats, and all the other good stuff. Car had a clean title and was in immaculate shape. 9850 and thats including tax. However I was smart and bought mine in the winter .

i actually just sold my 2000 GT with 43,000 miles and about $3000 worth of addons for $10,100. And yes i know that the add ons dont add to the value of the car. The guy that bought my car got a really good deal though.

Pay no more than $10.... Even though the miles arent bad that is an older car so be prepared to fix stuff.

If it has alot of dings and dents everywhere, do a VIN number check on it make sure it has not been totaled. Other then that im with, Adam 10G's and no more.

I bought my '99 2 years ago *which for the math guys would be just like a '01 this year*

48K, stock 5sp for 9500 in excellent shape..granted that was a good deal..

anything with damage that isnt selling for an AMAZING deal isnt worth it..
