I want to get more Horse power in a 96 gt.
I have a 96 gt and i was going to add some PI heads but ive heard that the will not fit.I have not been able to find any aftermarket heads for my car;soI was thinking about getting some 4Valve cobra heads wouldI have any problems?

The pi heads will fit, if you have the money fo for a full pi swap(heads, intake, cam, ect)and that'll put you ahead of the stock 99-04's and you can run with lt's.
Thats what i'd do....if i had the cash for it. it'll run you about 1200-1500 depending on used/new parts do it yourself install or how much it'll cost for a speed shop to do it for ya. But its def worth it.

I have the whole PI swap kit and the heads are ported with stock PI cams PI intake manifold for $800 all you would need is head gaskets and have someone to install them let me know!

you should slap the person that lied to you and never take advise from them again..
PI swap is basically a straight bolt-on...

Just do PI Cams and intake like I am about to. Just remove valve covers and throw in cams, no timing adjustment needed and the intake is almost a perfect swap....I've also read its only about a 10hp difference than a full head/intake swap...and I was able to find all the items for under $250!! Had enuff left over to grab 4.10's/speedcal/intsall kit/posi clutches....cant wait to find out what my $550 was able to acheive.
