If anyone wants to see the most insane chain of events go look in OT under the thread " the epic of moe" short and sweet me and Gstam went 200 miles to pick up his mustang. Its a1999 Mustang GT auto. On the way home we stopped at a gas station. After starting the car back up, it would only go in reverse. No 1st 2nd or Drive, nothing foreward at all. Everything seems ok, the shifter shifts like normal, there is no noise, just no moving foreward. We called the dealership and they are sending a flatbed out tonight to pick it up, haul it the 150 miles back and fix it. They will ship it to him when its done. But anyone have an idea about WTF happened?

Thats the weird thing, everything else mechanical was in perfect shape, and the car drove forward fine every time we drove it; the week before when we tested it, and the 81.1 miles on the way home.

Only stock in the '04 GTs. The 99-03s had the piece of trash commonly known as AODE

Uhh huh! Suuure! Im thinking about going with that same setup... this is why i want to hear so bad haha. Ima get the stingers on with my X pipe and see how that sounds.... If i hate it then im going to get the LTs and H pipe... have you seen my new rims ?
