Default Hypertech Programmer ?'s

I just bought a hypertech programmer for my 2000 mustang gt. I was curious about changing the shift points. I have no idea what to change them to, do I need to make them lower or higher. From 1-2 my car shifts at 2000 and from 2-3 if shifts at 2500. And also do I need to change the REV limiter when I change the shift points. I am new to this, had the car for about 2 months, please don't be harsh

xx,
I have a hypertech and i changed my shift points to a higher rpm. That was a big no no!!! Because motor would heat up faster do to the shifting of higher rpms. If i was you don't f**k with the shift points unless you are doing with a professional.
