Default racing wheels

Are these what I want for a good racing wheel? The how to article says a 15x8 is good enough for our cars?

Will these fit on the front? :

15" is kinda small to me unless you are going bigger on the side wall. They are aluminum which light and that is a good thing. Did you try Tire Rack.com? They got killer race rims.

The 15 isnt the part in question, the 8 inch width is. The 15s are much lighter (most of the point) and allow for more sidewall.

Well you can squeeze up to like a 295(idk how wide in inches that is) on an 8" rim so I'm sure that's enough. That backspacing looks off though. I don't know too much about that but I would look into something with like a 4-5" backspacing.

The tires will fit fine on an 8" rim.

For the front once again I don't know about the backspacing. Wouldn't the rims hit the brakes with a small backspacing like that. With my 15x8 Cragers the backspacing is like 4.75 inches and it barely misses the calipers and what not.

Those are some of the best looking/ most functional wheels (without costing a fortune) available. Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe that you CANNOT fit a 15 on a car with cobra/Mach brakes. Isnt that true? I know 15's will not fit on my IRS

Why not go ahead with the 15x 10 6.5in backspacing? Then you could run different width tires. Like 10.50's or even 11.50's. Oh yea, and when you bust your rear, can I have your SRA housing?

He has Cobra/Mach brakes? I was thinking about it but I wasn't sure if he did or not. I'm like 90% sure you can't fit a 15" on those brakes. That's why I don't plan on upgrading them

Prostars are definitely the nicest "all business" rims.

10" rim is overkill. An 8" rim would work perfectly but I would also consider a 9" if you ever want to run a crazy wide tire[8D]

I'm going 10 just so I wont ever have to upgrade wheels. Just think they look cool too.

And in the winter, I can put some big *** 315's on them.

You can easily put a 315 drag radial on a 9" rim. Remember less rotational mass=gooder

I know what you mean but function before form.

I dunno about the front backspacing, but the rears are what was recommended in the "12 second n/a 2v" section. Does anybody know for sure?

Regardless a 15x8 with 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern and 5.5 backspacing will fit perfect, or if you insist on a wider tire like a 10” then a 15x10 with 5 on 4.5 bolt pattern and 6.5 backspacing will also work on our cars.
Straight off the 5 components for a 12 second N/A write up. A 1" backspacing is no good.
