Default 01 automatic drivetrain

i am getting a vibration when my car shifts at about 50mph and it goes from 2000 to 1500 rpms. im not sure if its coming from the tranny ityself or the rear-end. so if anyone has heard or experienced anything like this pelase let me know. i would just like some suggestions.

thank you

it does it anywhere from 1 - 3 seconds. i have learned how to drive it so that it wont do it. but still thats not fixing anything, its only avoiding a problem that needs to be fixed.

I have had two auto GT'sand when it starts doing that it means the Overdrive band in the Transmission is gone. A quick way to check is to take your car out of overdrive. The only fix is to rebuild that part of the transmission. Sorry.

Ya it could be tranny damage but try a tranny flush first and see if that helps.
