Default Shorty headers worth it?

My friend is about to install some chrome bassani shorties on his 03 mustang gt. Is this even worth the trouble? I'm still learning about mustangs so I'm not sure. I know on my Z28 this would be a huge waste of time and money. Right now he hasflowmaster exhaust with no cats.

Thanks

Go longtube or go home. Are emissions an issue?

Emissions are not an issue. Just as I thought, he was seriously missinformed. He's thinking he is gonna get 30 hp from this. When he first told me he was getting headers I said yeah your probably right. Then I went over to his house last weekend he pulls out this box of individualy wrapped pipes and I actually said "What are those?". Hopefully he canstill return them. Will he get any kind of gains with those?

He did mention that he might want to go turbo later on. I know LT's would be bad for that. Even still if he was gonna go turbo it would be better to stick with the stock manifolds since they will hold heat better, plus save $700.
Thanks for the help guys.

Drop the 0 off the end of that and that will be his hp increase.
