Default Yes, another question about gears

My birthday is coming up as well as xmas and of course that means gifts lol. well i really want to make the stang faster, and i think i want to start with gears. I want to get the 4.10s for the better acceleration compared to 3.73s. But my problem is gas mileage. I KNOW I KNOW i didnt buy a stang for the mileage. But i'm just wondering if i drive it pretty reasonably with 4.10s how much less mpg am i looking at? Same question for 3.73. I know the question has been asked, i just want to know in terms of numbers how much less mpg i'm looking at.
I'm also going to get a short throw shifter, i know it doesnt make the car faster but i believe it will be a nice conveinence. What are the pros and cons to the Pro 5.0 and the Steeda Tri ax? Or are the essentially the same? Or should i use the money for something other than the shifter? Thanks for the help everyone.

Edit: I dont do ne highway driving, maximum in a week might be 5-10 miles of expressway lol, traffic can be rather bad in my area, but its alright most of the time. Also i have a 5 speed, and i dont plan on too many mods, if ne with college coming up. I just want to get the better acceleration on the road and such, dont plan on taking it to the track for awhile since the one closest to me i think is closed for the winter.
Wait so y am i getting gears again? lol but i really do want the acceleartion

IF YOU DO ALOT OF CITY DRIVING AND HAVE A STICK BOX, DONT GET 4:10s. YOUR MPG WILL REALLY SUFFER, NOT TO MENTION ALL THE JUMPING AROUND YOUR CAR WILL DO DEPENDING ON THE WAY YOU DRIVE IN TRAFFIC WITH THAT BIG A GEAR. 3:73 WOULD SUIT U JUST FINE CITY WISE. IF YOU DID ALOT OF HIGHWAY, SEEING AS YOU HAVE THE STICK, I'D SAY 4:10 ALL THE WAY. I PERSONALLY HAVE AN AUTOMATIC, SO THE SHIFTER QUESTION I REALLY DONT KNOW ABOUT. I WOULD SAY THERE IS SOME TYPE OF A MAJOR DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO, JUST LIKE MANUAL AND REVERSE MANUAL VALVE BODIES FOR AUTO TRANNYS

either gear will do u justice, better acceleration with the 4:10s equals higher rpm than a 3.73 at the same speed
