Default '04 GT Exhaust Suggestions

Hey guys, I just got my car about 5 months ago and I'm looking to start doing some mods starting with the exhaust. I would like to do headers, mid-pipe and catback. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

no need asking what catback to get. everybody here is going to tell you magnaflows or magnapacks. all the exhausts offer basically the same gains, give or take a couple HP. get whatever you think is the sexiest. i liked the SLP sounds, so i went with those.

I was thinking Magnaflows, but what about mid-pipe and headers?

I like the Flowmasters personally. Just remember that the exhaust setup is different on the 04 GT - the O2 sensors are mounted a little farther back. Theres no worry about catback, but when changing up a midpipe and such, it has to fit the 04GT

you could buy the O2 harness to extend them. they're like 40 bucks or something.

Do I have to do a mid-pipe to do headers?

i'm never gonna get used to seeing that. LOL.

You're the dude who convinced me to get magnaflow. LOL.

seriously. i kinda prefer the deep rumble of the flowmasters too but if you're gonna get flows, you better be able to handle the "drone" at 2k RPM. It drove me NUTZ on the hwy.....i still had the 3.27s then too though. now i'm never at 2k.
