Yeah, maybe 2-4 hp at most. Not really worth the money.

I think they are worth the $$$, as your car will rev faster with them

They are worth the money. No, it's not a butt load of hp back, but it's worth it. I would couple it with a timing adjuster and get the most out of it. I would caution you to avoid the aluminum piggyback styles offered by BBK, MAC, etc. I understand that BBK my now have non-piggy styles, so they may be alright. I personally have Steeda UDPs and thier TA. Along with the CAI, I had to jump to using 89 octane, but I'm now getting much better response and gas mileage. No, mileage was not a consideration, but I like it just the same. It's like having cake and eating it too. Of course, having cake and not eating it would seem rather silly when you think about it.

OK, i planned on getting the steeda ones, I have been reeding about the piggy ones.. they seem like problems waiting to happen. What does a steeda timing adjuster run for? Is that a do it yourself job as well? I consider the pulleys as do it your self....

the timing adjuster is about 150. its a simple do it yourself job. took me about an hour to do. if you are debating between a timing adjuster and pullies........the winner would be the timing adjuster. to date it is my favorite mod.

I just put the Steeda pulleys on my car over the weekend. Was a quick job, just be sure you have the right pulley puller. I feel like there was a slight difference in the car's performance, but it it very slight. I didn't really notice any difference down low, but in the upper RPM range, the car seems to pull a little better. We'll see what it's worth on the track if I manage to get there before I put the gears in.
