Default serpentine belt/pulley question

my fan belt keeps sliding back onto the block making it squeek like a bi#$h! i believe the pulley is called the idler pulley. the one with a bolt going directly into the block. my question is how do i remedy this. its got a fairly new belt. started a week ago. i found that if i loosen it, the belt comes off the block and doesnt sqeek, but by the end of the day it slides back to the block and starts squeeking again. any suggestions???

Yep. Tension/idler pully. The belt shouldn`t move off of it at all. Maybe it needs to be replaced.

Im surethe beltis the right size. Right? If you need to change the tension pulley, check out www.rockauto.com They have pretty good prices on parts. I`ve got alot of parts through them. No problems.
