Default This SUCKS!! All aftermarket Clutch owners please read!

I just put in my Hays Clutch kit (which looks like a remanufactured set from JEG's???
Anyways all is correctly done except I go to hook up my clutch cable and tha damn thing is so loose my pedal is only 2inches from the floor?
When I changed my clutch in my Z-28 I put in a Centerforce and never had to touch the clutch cable!
What the hell is the deal? Is this normal with the stangs?

I'm no expert...but maybe it just needs to be adjusted? You may need a clutch cable kit, but I'm prolly way off..

It is about 1.5" too loose. I don't think theres anything that will fix it! I just bought a Granetelli cable kit with firewall adjuster andquadrant. Paid $69 plus $10 shipping from having scratches on it! Like I care you can't see that anyways, well the firewall adjuster yess, but who cares! I saved $$$$. I just didn't think I would have to go this route and wondered if anyone else had the same issues or if it's the certain clutch kit I bought?

Well if you can't figure it out, might as well bring it to a mechanic, have em check it out...I'm sure someone on here could help ya eventually though...

The quadrant and firewall adjuster fixed the problem right? I would recommend getting these anytime anything but the king cobra is used (aftermarket wise).

UMMM... I am a mechanic. I pulled the tranny out and replaced the clutch myself took my less than 4 hours! I did my own gears too 3:73's.
I just didn't realize it would have been a problem. Like I said I changed my z's clutch out and actually two others out and haven't ever had any issued like this! Must be the clutch forkd are set-up diff for quicker release!

Also what is this about king Cobras are used??? I bought a Hays! Lakewood makes them
