Default Got problem need your opinion please

Ok heres the problem, since i installed the torque conv. im getting this vibration in 4th gear around 1200-2000 rpm. Does not do it all the time but still is so annoying. Imagine your driving a stick shift, you are in 5th gear you slow down and then keep going whithout downshifting thats the kind of vibration i get. Once it downshifts to 3rd vibration is gone. I dont want to think is the converter. Could it be a bad od or that the tranny is not synchro. the 3rd and od shifts. Also is the 4R70W a locking tranny? If i want the tranny to lock the conv in 3rd and 4th do i need to get a tune?

DUDE!?! You put a 3k stall in there with no cams? No tune?

You REALLY need to talk to the TCI people.

Check your driveshaft! They tend to vibrate if any weights are missing or if the u-joints are going bad!

it could be the little pin-type things inside the torque converter (forgot their name) there could be a defect inside causing the vibration, but that is unlikely. +1 to the ujoints, they are often overlooked as a cause of a problem. did you check the basics.. IAC valve, etc.
