Default changin boost!

Ok so lately i have been postinon here about not makin enought power and everyone told me to up the boost. So i called paxton to find out what size pulley i have and they said 3.25' so i did some research on the ones i could buy and the only two sizes i could find were 3' and 2.75' and the way everybody was talkin it seemed like 2.75 should net a good 15lbs. but if my stock pulley was 3.25 how would a half inch give me more than double what i have now? It didnt make sense so i measured my stocker and it looked like 3.5 or 3.6. does this sound right? Also i would like to know which pulley would be more likely to hit 10 lbs without goin over. i'm just afraid 2.75 is too small. but is my pulley actually 3.5 or am i wrong in my measuring?

Dont really know the answer on what pully will give you what boost but when you messured did you take into account that the outer edge is not where you should measure from. The belt is atleast 1/8" to 1/4" thick. you have to measure from where the belt touches the pully.
