Default Mickey thomspon ET Streets

Very shortly i will be puttin a set of Mickey Thompson ET streets on my car and i am gettin the whole rear end setup but just one question. will the stock Driveshaft hold or do i need to replace it?

Yes it will hold up. The only other mod you can do is a tublar aluminim drive shaft that will lessen the weight of the car but remember... its "tubular"...... I've heard of more cases where they will "warp" not necessaryly break under the pressure compared to a solid driveshaft.

Trust me.... you'll have other things to worry about when launching hard then a driveshaft.... More then likely your tranny or rear-end will go before that thing will even think about tearing..... Unless of course you've damaged it in some kind of collision or blunt force.

Haha.. you shouldnt be worried about your driveshaft, you should be kissing your clutch good bye. On my last tranny I killed a king cobra clutch with just nittos.

We'll see how a spec 2+ holds up this year with the ET streets.
