To Tune or Not To Tune?
With my mods in my sig should I pay a dyno tuner to tune my car with an SCT or no?? I dont want to buy a tune online and have them send it with the SCT, I'd rather a professional do it and look at my car if I do. But would it really help me with my bolt ons (no FI), or not really?

RE: To Tune or Not To Tune?
yea id wait til you get some more serious mods. youll gain a little bit...but plan on shelling out ~$400 for the tuner and then ~$150 for the tune. i dont think itd be worth the $$$

lol the engines stock... you dont have fi... you dont have juice... hell you dont even have full bolts ons.... ya go ahead and waste $500 on 10hp...
Get a tuner and be done.

RE: To Tune or Not To Tune?
Not enough done yet to justify a tune, the money would not be well spent.
If it were me I would get these mods done next before a tune...
Electric Water Pump, Electric Powersteering pump, lightweight flywheel (SFI), PST carbon fiber driveshaft, Replace those gears with a set from Pro 5.0 because theyare 3.5lbs less,Typhoon intake (Port match to ported heads), VT Cams, Port those heads while off,Maf tuned for 38lbs injectors then I would get the tune.... Seems like I am forgetting something though.... But thats just me.
OH ya, shorty headers and high flow cats from SummitRacing (You can sell your old cats as scrap for $40 each.) still feel like I am forgetting something....
You have a great start as it is, keep it up.
