I got my granatelli Clutch cable quadrant and firewall adjuster in the mail a few minutes ago! I looked at the firewall adjuster and it seems I have to pull the cable end off?? It's an adjustable cable. I don't know why I need both but it would make it much easier to adjust without getting under the car, so my question is there are 4 retaining tabs and I don't want to break them off incase for some reason this adjuster won't work! zwhat do I do to get the regular looking firewall mount off?

 

omg what at retard. I just finished the post and picked up the cable to put it in the box and thought, I may be pulling the whole thing istead of just the rubber bushing! Surely the rubber part came right off. I feel like an idiot![sm=headbang.gif]...lol
