Default New mustang options

Well as some of you may know, I bought me an 04 Cobra not too long ago. So this post has nothing to do about it. I would really like to add another mustang to my collection in the next few months hopefully. But I wanna go in a different direction other than forced induction ( the Cobrahas plenty of that for me )... so here are the guidelines to consider in this.

1. I want to stay naturally aspired.
2. I want to go with a solid rear end.
3. I'm going with the 4.6, no 5.0's.
3. No nitrous, just not into it.
4. I want to buy this under $10k.
5. This would be a daily driver type of car, with a small amount of strip time.

I know for the Mach I this is gonna be a stretch. It would probably either have to be salvaged or really high miles for that kind of price. The GT's can be found all day under $10k and quite a few 96-98 cobra's can be found under that as well. So what do you think I should consider getting over the others? To me they are all good options (I know the GT's are only 2V, but if I could find one for around $4k-$5k I could easily mod it up good with the cash saved on buying that kind of car). Just want to see what you guys have to say.

Wow.. i wish i had money like you... o wait i will haha! Adam got promoted and went from 15k a year to 42k so we will see my new cobra soon enough....
Anyways i would go for the 96-98 cobra without a doubt! You could throw on a couple of boltons and actually see an enjoyable gain! I think the cobras in that body are SEXY when put together right!

Id say the older cobra...I'm partial cus i have a 97, but they are very nice cars. Wont be anywhere near your 04, but nice nonetheless. And since you already have a new edge, why not add an sn95? The 96-98 cobra hoods are the best IMO.

Golden Eagle, you showed a lot of patience waiting for your Cobra. Now show some patience and wait for the right deal on a Mach! Finding one for 10K would be out of the question. But a high mileage one would obviously be your only option trying to get one. It would be worth it IMO. Gotta love the Mach 1.

Adam, Congrats on the promotion bro! Spend your money wisely.

Another idea... My buddy just bought a 96 black cobra one adult owner for $6,000... It had 130,000 miles though and it was all stock. You could look for something like this.. Rebuild the engine and still not have payed very much for it!

I vote the sn95. They are a bit diffrent than the new edge and plus that 96-98 cobra is just flat out sexy

As far as looks go, I do love the way the sn95 cobra's look... very nice body lines. But I am still partial to the Mach I's and the shaker hood scoop ( I know, I know... its not really all that functional, but since I'm staying NA, its mostly for looks anyways). I've got time to consider this cuz the Terminator will be modded first before I decide to buy another mustang. This will be a tough choice really coming down between a SN95 Cobra and a Mach I.
