How Often Do You Change Your Oil?

I just switched to synthetic oil, but I'm having trouble finding out how much it lasts. I've heard it has to be changed every 5K miles, 10K miles, twice a year, or change the filter every 5K miles and the oil every 10K miles. I want to know for sure so that's why I'm asking here.

3 months for me. I rarely go 3000k miles in that time.

i change oil and filter every 5k on the dot with mobil 1 synth 5w20

5000mi, penzoil platinum 5w30/w mobil 1 filter, actually notcied the car was running smoother with this brand as opposed to the mobil i used previously (but it all probably comes out of the sam factory)
