i just got my b&m pro ripper shifter and im trying to put it in. ive got all the neccesary bolts out of the stock shifter but it wont come out...am i missing something or doing something wrong...someone help!

if you got the 4 bolts out of the shifter plate that goes directly to the tranny, then all your fighting is some sealant or gasket maker. Just put some A** into it.

It is just stuck with RTV. Use a flat blade to pry it up, be gentle and don't damage the gasket surface of the tranny.

I used a pry bar to get it out. They're stubborn. Just work it out.

Put the handle and **** on and rock it back and forth (side to side) while also pulling from
the base. It will come out, just use some umpppffhh.

f***ing aye man that was a pain in the nuts but i finally got it out... thanks for the help guys i wasnt sure if there was any other bolts i was missing taking out or anything but i got the new shifter in and its awsome....thanks again for the help
