Default getting a procharger!!!

alright i know ive posted three different posts all claiming im getting a certain supercharger, but im for sure getting this one. it's a p1sc stage 2 procharger. im buying from a guy on another forum. he's throwing in 42lb green injectors, and a 90 SCT MAF. Im getting it for $3000 shipped to my door. i talked to the guy whos gonna tune my car and he recommended duel focus fuel pumps. $200 plus another $200 for the fuel system install. then $700 for the rest of the labor and $450 for the sct chip and the custom tune. so im looking at another $1550 for installation and tune. does that seem high to anyone? either way i will more than likely still usethis shop because they're very good at what they do, and they're tunes are the best around houston. oh btw the shop is called g force if anyone is familiar with them. so there it is, should be all said and done within three weeks.,

I have a procharger P1SC for my 03... The biggest mistake was to get a procharger. The H.P. that I received from it was a lot lower than you would from a Kenny Bell, Paxton or any other.... I would never recommend a procharger for anyone.

it's all about the tune. these guys specialize in prochargers. they know they're stuff. im not worried at all about not making enough power.

From my experience with my procharger is that the pulleys always break...I am sure some people like procharger but my experience has been nothing but lack of H.P. compared to my friends who have other superchargers. Good luck to you with it.

I got a P-1SC stage 2 and have been very happy. I had the bracket behind the idler pulley break (car ran the same, just made one helluva noise) after 14,000 miles and it was replaced under warranty.

I make decent power on a stock motor and would feel fine recommending the same setup. I have a safe tune that performs rather well and I believe that is the secret to F/I. I'm running a single 255lph pump with 42# injectors.

A lot of money for tha whole system I would look at RPM OUTLET.com. I got mine with the injectors, tuner, and GT$) fuel pump for 3800 plus tax.

thats an awesome deal if it is in good condition and stuff. Im very happy with my p1sc and i bought it from rpmoutlet.com and it does NOT come with the GT supercar pump but a simple single svt pump. How much power u make depends very much on the tuner u use and whether he knows what hes doing or not. Sounds like these G force guys are into prochargers, so im sure they will do just fine. As far as running dual svt pumps, its really up to u. For now u will be more than fine but if ur planning on increasing the boost and power in the near future might as well get them both in there. But as far as i know with my single setup, the pump was like at77%atWOT full boost if iremember right. Enjoyur good buy man.

i dont know which one i wanna get, duel or single. g force told me it would be $200 to install the fuel pumps plus another $700 for the sc installation. does that seem high to anyone? then annother 4450 for the sct chip and tune. should i check out some other places? my main concern is the tune so 100 or 200 extra bucks isn't gonna matter to me if i know i can trust the tune i get.

well i paid 700 for install and 500 for tune so im thinking thats a good price. However, that 700 included the pump as well and it should be included cause that's like part of the kit...pump, injector, etc.
