Default cobra exhaust question.

i know on the GT and Bullits the exhaust goes up and over the rear axel. on the cobra systems i have noticed that they can run the straight under the axel which has less bends and better flow. Cani use that cobra system on my BULLITT?

Maybe if you have someone make it, I beleive all the aftermarket cobra cat-backs are 3 inch piping. (thats too big for us 2v's) But i honestly dont think it helps flow better honestly, should be the same, I wouldnt worry about it and just get a catback for a Bullit.

Nope. Think about it,if it were possible and practical every company would do it. Like you said, less bends, better flow.

Only 03/04 Cobras or GT's that have an IRS swap have the kind of exhaust you talking about. Its ran like that because of the IRS.

+1

To run 99-04 Cobra catback, you have to have IRS. That's why the bend the way they do. Everything else is the same.

Yeah I have a 96 cobra and it goes up and over the axel too because I don't have IRS. When I had my 04 cobra thats why I couldn't get magnapacks without separate welding of course because it only came in a GT catback and I had the IRS so I couldn't do it easily.
