Default used or new heads

would it be cheaper to just buy the PI head swap kit w/ intake or just get a set of used heads and intake and take it somewhere and have them get the new gaskets and bolts and other hardware needed to put everything on????????????? thanks

10,000-i would say that is being kinda overdramatic...im thinking anything under 35,000 will be well worth it. The heads are meant to last well over 10,000.

I got my PI heads and intake for $600 on e-bay. Thery are from a 2000 GT and have 18k miles on them. I think that was a pretty good deal. NOw it's all about the cost of installation[&o]

i got the whole set up for 875 and they have under 20k, but if you do get them used, make sure you have them checked. After installation i find out the seals are bad and now i burn some oil.

i get to put them in with the help of this AWESOME mechanic/GOD. He makes his living off of building z06 engines and putting them in s10s-SMART DUDE! he said that he wont charge me anything but i have to be there and i have to do the work, as he tells me what to do. Pretty cool huh
