Im going to be in Austin for the Lone Star Roundup this weekend and looking for some cool palces to go if anyone has any ideas.

 

I have family there and have been there before... and all I know is that 6th street is the CHIT!

 

Yea dude if you are 21 or older you should hit up 6th street, it's a badass area of bars and clubs...def worth checking out. Then there's always the capitol, some awesome places to eat like Hula Hut, the Oasis, etc. I'll think of some more stuff to do.

austin is the greatest city in the world. there are about 10 concerts going on every night. get online and look at the austin chronicle and austin360.com and you can find all the info you want

 

yeah man, I live in Austin and I have to say 6th street is your best bet for going out at night. If you have a wife or gf that wants to shop, she'd like the Arboretum. GO HORNS GO!!!

 

Sweet. The round up is a big car show mostley for older cars but have some newer ones there too. From what i here they shut some streets down in down town and everone parks there and has a big party. concerts and stuff. My brother in law said there is some crazy cars there. people running around with open headers and wheelie bars and stuff. He said there are full out pro stock cars running around town. Sounds cool and i start a new job next week so i figured what a better way to burn off some vacation time at the old job. Ill deff hit up 6th street. I plan on getting crunked while im there.
