Maybe it only gained a 1/2hp or .0000000000000001hp , but I still notice the difference. Whatever you all might think. I love how people, who never even drove in my car (reguardlessif your Mustang is stock, same year, & same colorlike mine or modified like mine isn't) , can tell me what my car can and can notdo. Maybe I picked up experience after taking it (the filter)off, I don't know. I still notice a difference. Tell me I don't notice anything, how dare you [:@]! It could be that I'veturned the traction control button off, too.
****ing hell it's not like I came in here bragging about it. I was just relating a story.

Nice! I had the same thing with my rear window (bottom) molding coming off. I just used some black silicon adhesive (RTV like) sealer and put it back on. Been good for a year now.

See there you go. When I 1st got the car it would squeek a couple of feet off the line, from punching it. Now I can go further punching it with the tire spin. Were you ever in my car? I'm not the one who's getting wet, all of you are making an argument about what I've noticed whenI took the air silencer off. So get your panties out of a bunch and relate your jealousy's to your psych.

p.s. Thanks mineral for staying on the topic

We can tell you what it can and cannot do because we have been there and done that. People (lots) have dynoed before and after parts installs ya know.

One car is going to react (within reason, or a few horsepower) exactly like the next does. There are a dozen different things that could be effecting your traction, but removing the air silencer is not a mod that will acutally make enough of a difference to feel.

I know why you think you feel it though... because you have done a mod and are looking for results. Every time you do a mod you are wanting to feel a difference, and even if it doesn't make one you "notice" it because you are expecting to.

its kinda like when you think something is broken with your car.. you listen closely and start hearing all this stuff you didnt hear before... simply because you were not trying to hear it.
