Default New to Mustangs and this forum..

Hey guys.. Ive located a 1995 Mustang GT for cheap. Its a 4.6. Would it be worth my time and money to spend some money on it and make a nice vehicle out of it? Why on all the parts and stuff I see for the 4.6's say '96-'98. Where the 4.6's changed from 95 to 96? I have tons of questions..

Thanks..

1995 Mustang had the 5.0 V8, not the 4.6. They started the 4.6 in '96.

Congratulations! You've found the worlds' rarest Mustang! A factory stock 95 4.6!!!

Jaybird is 100% right. 94 and 95 were 5.0s and the 4.6 came along in 96. Ask away, homeslice....

Ok.. On inside of the door it says the car was made in March of 1995. But the badge on the quarter says 4.6L. Does that mean I got lucky and have a 5.0 with 4.6 badges or a 1996 4.6?

No pics yet.. Im positive it said March of 1995.. Dont manufacturers start thenext year models in October? Thats what Ive always thought. So if it was made in say October 29 1995 it would be a '96 right?

My 96 was made in october of 95, the one you're looking at could've been set to be a 5.0 then held back and put in w/ the 4.6 generation....or it could just be an early bird
