The D1-SC is on! *PICS*
I finally was able to install the D1 Procharger kit on the GT. This kit is capable of making 32psi...not that I will ever boost nearly that much but its nice to know lol. It came with an 18lb pulley / gatorback belt which is currently on the car. I actually probably lost a little power temporarily due to the larger intercooler, until I get a forged motor to take more boost at which point a 14-16lb pulley will go back in. Well it took us about 5 -7 solid working hours + a couple trips to Oreillys and Ace Hardware- but the D-1SC is on there and the GT is now pushing 18 lbs and about 600 rwhp!!!....well it would if I had the nutz to take it above 3,500 rpm lol. I just today got the 10lb Riechard Racing billet pulley (figures- the day after the kit gets installed), so once I get a new belt i'll lose about 150-200 rwhp lol. Thanks to Joel, Brandon, and Deric for all the help! Also got the Steeda Oil separator on and working, the Steeda clutch adjuster set, and the rear brakes working properly! Its nice to have a car that can drive again- even if I have to drive in like a 90 year old for a few days..
Here are some pics of the kit, the new RR pulley, MM CC plates, steeda clutch adjuster, valve cover breather, and the steeda oil separator- all of which (minus the new pulley) we just installed.
