Whats the best oil and filter for the mustang ??? what weight , type, brand, ect.......

I use Royal Purple oil, and K&N filter. I like both, but neither is cheap.

Amsoil, Royal purple, Mobil 1. They are all really good. I use Mobil 1 5W20.

Why does the weight mean so much what does it do.??? is a heavier weight better or lighter weight.

Its just that different weights are better for different engines. If you live in an 'extreme' climate zone though that will also affect what oil you should use.
