Dont be in a rush.... i searched for 5 months for my car and i was just looking for a GT!

And think about it.... that car is OLD.. if you ever plan on selling it in say 3-4 years down the road it is not going to be worth SHI*

Mustangs are a dime a dozen.. remember that. There are soooooo many of them.. Like dealers around here are known to go down 3-5k on asking prices on stangs because they just cant get rid of them! The asking price on mine was $16,700 and i got it for $12,100 out the door!.

10 year old car with 97k for 10k is insane. I wouldn't pay more than 7k tops. You couldbuy an 99-01 new edge with half the mileage for that.

no way id drop that much money on a car that has almost 100k miles on it......even if its a cobra......you can find cobra's in way better condition and less miles for maybe around the same price if you look good enough

Also i am very perticular about my cars, thats y i dont want mine right now. I can always find something wrong on a car. I think i need to get a newer model with low mileage.

I wouldnt even by that car....the floor is dirty and there is a cai on it...I would personally neer buy a modded car.
I dunno why people feel this way. In my experence thecars that have beentaken the bestcare of(garaged, regular maintenece, etc) are the cars with mods.

Just seeing a CAI on there doesn't mean it has been beat on.

From experiance with autoauctions and working for a Ford dealership that car was bought for no more than 5k at auction, that is the average, that one looks like crap for the interior though. Trade in can be even less if the person is desperate.

In 2002 We had a white 97' come in with 98k on the odo, we gave him 6k for it and I was going to get it for $7500, our list was $11,995. That should give you an idea of how things work... ALways buy private, dealerships suck sooooo bad and none will show you the invoice anymore. They tell you "We dont need to show you the invoice to sell this car." All of them are dicks anymore.

Best of luck finding a car.

Oh ya, goto Ebay and you can find dealerships selling them online that you can finace through that will give you a better price. Shoot for $12k you can get a Mach1 now if you shop wisely and take your time.
